How true is this! What is now a common quote floating around the internet by the late Steve Jobs has definitely made it in my top five favourite quotes of all time. I had to share this with a good friend of mine who’s currently in the process of pursing a dream of his, and unfortunately, hasn’t had much support or understanding from his family. He’s a dreamer who’s always believed he would be somebody one day and finally plucked up the courage to leave his job and focus on making it a reality. I find his perseverance so inspiring and it is what has inspired me to write this today!
Whatever it is you want to do, GO FOR IT! Never, ever hold back! Trust your intuition and if it feels right just do it. Make the most out of everyday and if you find you hit a hurdle don’t stress, tomorrow is another day. Just hold on, keep believing and be happy!
If you find yourself doubting your dreams and getting discouraged, simply remember what your dream is and just imagine yourself already having achieved it. Don’t take to heart what others say about you and your dreams. In most cases these people just envious or they just don’t understand. At the end of the day, the choices you make are what you have to live with, so do what’s right for you.
Now if your wondering about my friend, well despite a lack of funds, he has managed to secure flights to Los Angeles, a working visa and a place to crash while he’s over there following his dreams! So I leave you with yet another quote that I hope will inspire you further…
