ireland stylings

I love Kathryn Ireland. I love her fabrics and interior style, the clash of vibrant prints help make a home an actual home, a place that looks lived in and well used and enjoyed. I came across these images and wanted to share them with you! One of my resolutions for the new year is to finally get my own place and make it on my own so to speak, so these past few days I have definitely amped up my search, as well as planning my interiors!

I’m not one for slick and shiny interiors, I prefer a good mix of old and new; Starck and Ikea all under the one roof! I do have a pretty good idea of what I want my space to be like, and yes I already have chosen the corner modular upholstered in a white Ikat print but it still doesn’t stop me from surfing online for more inspiration. I always find myself drawn to her website as her style somewhat translates well to my own and below are a few of my favourites!

Love the placement of the frames instantly transforming a plain wall into a feature wall.

Loving the clash of the different prints and textures

I want a red claw-footed tub!

So that last image is a little bit random but it is my dream to own a chic little cottage out in the countryside amongst magnificent rolling hills! I always end up searching for this when I’m on her site!

Much love,
