Evoking a coveted bohemian summer, lust and adventure, the creatives at Free People head to the desert. Golden plains and isolation for as far as the eye can see. Yes please. And in the spirit of all things Coachella present us with a beautiful, festival inspired lookbook. One that entices us to follow them down this way. Especially so for all my Northern Hemisphere readers. This editorial is surely going to get you eagerly anticipating the upcoming summer season. While for the rest of us down below, this will definitely keep us hoping for an extended warmer season. Unfortunately not if you happen to have been in Australia these past few months. The lack of a warm summer, something which was delightfully pleasant for myself, has left most unhappy with the fact that winter promptly looms in the shadows.
I must admit that I do in fact find myself slightly envious and somewhat pinning for an Indian summer, curtsey of this resplendent editorial. Something which is completely unheard of for myself. But as I peruse through each photo, I find myself yearning to be down this way. Anywhere but here. It is those sumptuously carefree images, crochet and pops of vibrant pinks and reds, illuminate my mind with bohemian wanderlust and American adventures. More so inclined towards daydreams of Coachella and Arizona desert sojourns with numerous versions of these outfits. And while Coachella may continue to be a no-go, one thing is for sure, I certainly foresee myself shopping up quite the storm. First up those heavenly crochet foot ties. In the words of Carrie Bradshaw, hello lover!
