Let me start by saying this is kind of what I am famous for. It’s a crowd pleaser and is almost always gobbled up in no time. It’s totes adorable and looks impressive with all those lovely chocolaty chunks showing through and then a sumptuous drizzle of white chocolate that makes it all posh and fancy. I always get asked to make this and until now been one of my best kept secrets.
So it’s kind of a big deal that I’m sharing this with you all.

INGREDIENTS:
150g butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
250g dark chocolate chips
110g almond meal
1/2 cup plain flour
1/2 cup self raising flour
1 tbs milk
80g white chocolate, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 160°C / 300°F and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Beat butter and sugar together until pale and creamy then beat in the vanilla and combine. Add the eggs and beat well until mixture is combined.
Add the chocolate chips, almond meal, flours and milk and stir until mixture is completely combined. Transfer onto the tray making sure to evenly spread mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes and set aside to cool down. Once cool melt the white chocolate and drizzle over slice. Cut and serve.
