While Melbourne seems to be somewhat confused about which season we are actually in, winter *cough* *cough*, all I feel compelled to do is retreat to daydreams of cobblestone pathways bordered by ancient architecture and finding solace rummaging through old photographs of past travel adventures. This ensemble would be ideal for such a European sojourn, and a most comfortable outfit for getting ponderously lost in those bustling European streets. All while letting those gloriously bohemian Isabel Marant’s to be your guide.
Granted a leather style jacket may not be required, with a hot sun bearing it’s goodness down, who ever said fashion needed to be practical? Love ain’t dead when it comes to fashion, especially when it comes to the daydream kind. Plus I’m still very much in a Melbourne state of mind; warm one minute, freezing the very next. And one may still find use for such a jacket in the evening. Or if you find yourself flying back to the opposite side of the hemisphere, find comfort in its warm embrace as you step out of the climate controlled airport and back into reality.
