Acne Studios latest offering; their modernised logo imagery of a smiley face boldly emblazoned onto minimal style sneakers. A clever take given the current obsession with anything emoji related and applying it distinguishably onto the fashion packs current fascination with white sneakers. A design, completely unrelated and heterogenous to that once beloved smiley face that was erected on anything and everything back in the 1990’s. It is a simple, tasteful even with just a hint of cheeky attitude; much like the label itself. That iconically unreadable expression; one that can delineate feelings of blasé, high brow or contentment. Utterly endless. The smiley face sneakers themselves exude effortless coolness and by coming in an array of textures and hues like the pictured above in white but also in nude, black and even metallics like gold and silver.
