I can not deny how undeniably smitten I’ve become with this trench coat from SheIn. And much like the alcoholic beverage, the White Russian, a trench coat is an old favourite. You could draw similarities between the two in terms of it’s coffee tones, but one thing is for sure a trench coat is about as iconic as a White Russian.
I’ve actually been on the hunt for something similar for some time now but hadn’t found anything that was distinctly different, yet familiar. I associate this hue with being rather notoriously wavering in terms of flattery. It can be precarious at times; complimentary or harsh. For me personally I find lightweight fabrics as opposed to the heavy kind more favourable for my complexion and body type. Which makes this trench incredibly ideal. It’s fine yet substantial and perfect for transitioning from the warmer climate to the slightly more arctic and vice-versa. I adore the slender military details found on the shoulders and the duster length that billows around with the breeze. It’s also undeniably stylish and effortless, which is something I believe one should possess. A piece that you literally throw on over jeans and a tank and immediately feel uplifted and polished. And a piece that I feel like I may be reaching for more and more over the next few weeks with Mercury and numerous other planets going retrograde for a good two months. Anyone else feeling this shit storm? As an Aquarian, I sure am.
