Simple and not so sweet in black. Embracing my inner wild child and frolicking amongst some exceptionally dazzling florals in bloom the other week.
Though it’s not awfully difficult embodying my inner Stevie Nicks with this off the shoulder number from New Chic. It’s bold, black and effortless and has fast become one of my favourite sartorial pieces to date. And considering it is priced well under a mere $15, this top truly is such a magnificent buy. Especially taking into account the overall quality and fit, which honestly surpassed all my expectations. In truth, I am actually quite the fan of the exposed shoulder trend. Mind you, this is the only thing I am looking forward to about summer and can not wait to incorporate this style more and more on a daily basis over the next few weeks. Especially after having made several impulse purchases lately. I do wonder, can one actually have too many cold shoulder pieces?
Another new item c/o New Chic that has captivated my heart is that charming white shoulder bag. While I’m not a major supporter of sartorial “dupes”, this shoulder bag clearly inspired by the infamous Drew version was one I decided to break the rules on. More so for that charming ethnic slash bohemian type print. Oh and its decadent gold chain because I’m such a sucker for anything gold.
