Another day and yet another feature on a duster jacket. My love for such pieces continues to grow as I seemingly appear to attract a myriad of irresistible prints and designs. Like this one from Witchery. A print I’d seen online on numerous occasions. A print that did nothing to sway my fancy until I had the pleasure of encountering it face to face in store. And as they say, the rest is history.

There’s nothing quite like a well fitted and designed duster jacket. Possessing a versatility that is second to none; the options are endless. Day to night, chameleon like qualities and a charisma that pairs well with textures. All of which has lead to my firm sartorial admiration. It’s such a transformative piece, a confidence booster and one that makes a subtle statement wherever you go. This I can certainly attest to.

On a seperate note, can you believe we’ve hit the second week of January? I am still operating in holiday mode, despite going back to work last week. My body feels sluggish at the thought of working a few mere hours this week and my mind is in protest, still holding onto the belief that Christmas 2017 is fast approaching. I feel weird all over. As if caught in a bizarre time warp.

Even with all this talk of resolutions and setting goals for 2018. Even though my outfit (in particular my duster jacket) above is signally premature undertones and references to autumn/fall. I still can’t get my head around the fact that we’ve landed on the eighth day of a brand New Year.
