Healthy living can be challenging for some. The four pillars of healthy living essentially include healthy foods and supplements, like those from 1st Phorm, essential fluids like water, healthy activities like walking and yoga, and sleep. So let’s delve deeper into these four pillars of healthy living and how you can introduce them into your life.

A healthy diet plan must include natural foods which provide your body with the essential nutrition it needs on a day-to-day basis. It is advisable to stay away from unhealthy processed food like overly salted chips, cookies with a high amount of sugar etc. Even healthy food can be harmful to your health if they are eaten in excess. Some allergic reactions have also been recorded in people who consume very large amounts of common fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. Hence you should eat healthy foods but also take into consideration the quantity of it that you need each day rather than overeating at one time or taking non-healthy food.

A healthy drink can be healthy if you choose the right kind of drink on a day-to-day basis. Milk is healthy since it aids in the healthy growth of children and also helps with the healthy functioning of body parts like skin, muscles etc. Fresh fruit juices are a healthy alternative to sodas which contain high amounts of sugar and caffeine. It is advisable to avoid drinking too much water as this can lead to certain complications down the line since when your body gets used to being hydrated all the time, it becomes even more difficult for the body to store water or just relax when there is less amount of liquid available within the system. Alcohol is not necessary and hence it should be consumed only in moderation.

There are always healthy activities that you can do on a day-to-day basis. Yoga and walking are healthy exercises that help make your body healthy. The muscles, heart, eyes of the organs will work efficiently when yoga is practised regularly. When it comes to walking, it increases blood circulation in the body which helps keep your heart healthy and other parts like lungs healthy too. These healthy activities also help with stress relief as you breathe in fresh air while doing them, reducing chances of any kind of health complications down the line.

Sleep is very important for the overall health of your body. Lack of sleep can lead to various complications. The quality and quantity of sleep that you need in order to keep your body healthy will depend on various factors such as stress, exercise, diet etc. Hence sleep should be viewed as a part of everyday routine. You should sleep for at least 7 hours each night; however, sleep needs can differ from person to person depending on different factors which cannot be elaborated here in this article.

Avoid teas and coffee and energy drinks since these contain caffeine and sugar which end up causing harmful complications in the long run such as addiction, diabetes etc. Also, try doing meditation for 10 minutes daily since this helps with stress relief aiding good sleep at night time too. A healthy lifestyle is very important if you want your body to function efficiently and effectively all day long.
