Are you happy with your smile? There are many great and important reasons to try and be as happy as possible with your smile. Most of us want to be able to smile without any feeling of embarrassment, and that is something that can be very centrally important to your sense of confidence and personal wellbeing. As such, keeping your teeth looking their best is going to be a very important thing to focus on and make happen. There are a few things that can go wrong and need attention if you are trying to keep your smile beautiful. Let’s take a look and check out the solutions as well.

DISCOLOURATION

One of the most common aesthetic complaints that people have about their teeth is that they have become discoloured over time. This can happen very easily, and it is something that will happen naturally unless you are doing something about it to actively work against it. Of course, keeping on top of your teeth-brushing will help, but occasionally you might also want to get your teeth whitened just to help the effect along a little. That should lead to a smile that is much more beautiful and which you feel so much more confident about on the whole.

MISALIGNED TEETH

Or you might find that some of your teeth appear to be out of line with other ones. This, again, is very common, and in people of all ages. It can happen for many reasons, but whatever the cause, the good news is that fixing it is a relatively simple process that you can easily follow. Most people prefer to go down the Invisalign route, as these braces are invisible and you can therefore still feel confident with your smile even while wearing them. And soon enough, your teeth will be straight again and you can enjoy that feeling too.

MISSING TEETH

Whether due to gum disease, or simply an injury or accident, tooth loss can be an unpleasant thing to have to deal with, not least in the way that it affects your smile’s appearance. If you have any missing teeth and you are curious about how to get it fixed, this is generally going to mean that you need to get either veneers put on, or new implants. It is always best to speak to your dentist to see what they recommend in your specific case, but you should rest assured that they will be able to do something for you.

GUMMY SMILE

Those with a gummy smile tend to have a lot of gum that comes down over the teeth, and some people feel that it can look unattractive. If you are concerned about your own gums, again your first port of call should always be your dentist, and they will be able to recommend some simple procedures that they can carry out to pull the gum back up a little bit. However, you’ll need to weigh all the pros and cons to ensure it is worth it, something they can help you with too.
